Prof. Sigeru Omatu, Keynote Speaker

Sigeru Omatu is Professor of at the Department of Electronics, Information and Communication, Faculty of Engineering, Osaka Institute of Technology, Osaka, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Osaka Prefecture University and joined the faculty at University of Tokushima in 1969. He was Professor of University of Tokushima in 1988 and Professor of Osaka Prefecture University in 1995. He has been Professor of Osaka Institute of Technology since 2010. His honors and awards include the Best PaperAwards for Distributed Parameter System Theory, IEE of Japan, 1991, for Intelligent Classification, JSME, 1995, for Coin and Bill Classification, SICE, Japan, 1995, for Intelligent Smell Classification, IARIA, 2008, for Neuro-Control, IARIA, 2009. Furthermore, he received Ichimura DistinguishedAward for Intelligent Classification, New Technology Development Foundation, 1996, SICE Fellow and IEEJ OutstandingAchievementAward, 2005. He used to be the President of ISCIA(Institute of Systems, Control and InformationAssociation, Japan) in 2007 and President of Electronics, Information and Systems Society, IEEJ, 2004-2006, Regional Editor of EAAI (IFAC Journal) for 1998-2001,Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks for 19932003, and IMAJournal of Mathematical Control and Information (Oxford University Press) since 1991. His research area covers intelligent signal processing, pattern recognition, intelligent control, and adaptive control.

Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Habib Keynote Speaker

Dr. Zulfiqar Habib was born in Pakistan on September 1, 1966. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2004 from Kagoshima University Japan followed by the award of Postdoctoral fellowship of two years by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Currently he is holding the position of full Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Lahore, serving as the Chairman of eight campuses of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, and In-Charge of Center for Research in VIG-Robotics. Dr. Zulfiqar has achieved various awards in education and research including Farogh-e-Taleem (Promotion of Education) Gold Medal for the best performance in field of education, two Research Productivity Awards by Ministry of Science & Technology, Pakistan and three graduate merit fellowships by Japanese and German Governments. He is member of editorial board, advisor and reviewer of many famous ISI journals and funding agencies. He is organizer of various international conferences. He has been invited as keynote or tutorial speaker to numerous conferences and involved in various academic activities. Dr. Zulfiqar’s teaching & research interests broadly span the areas of Computer Graphics, Path Planning, Robotics, Geometric Modeling, Reverse Engineering of Images, Computer Vision, and Digital Image Processing. He has published a large number of highly cited research papers in impact factor journals. Currently he is supervising seven PhD students and very actively involved in funding projects.

 Associate Prof Dr. Qader Bayzidi Keynote Speaker

 Islamic Azad University -Sanadaj, Iran

Dr. Qader Bayzidi was born in Mahabad, Iran in 1976. He received his Master of Architecture Engineering (M.Arch.) from Iran University of Science & Technology, Tehran in 2002.  He awarded his Ph.D. in Architecture from Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran in 2013. Dr. Bayzidi joined the faculty of Architecture at Sanandaj Branch of Islamic Azad University in 2002 and has also cooperated with University of Kurdistan since 2002. Holding the position of Assistant Professor, he is head of department of architecture from 2009 to now, as well as department of urban design & planning since 2016. His teaching & research interests include the dual concept of globalization and regionalism in contemporary architecture, the relationship between culture and architecture, contextual architecture, theories and manifestoes of architecture, identity & sense of place, methods of architectural education, methods of architectural design, and urban renovation. He published ten journal papers and more than 50 conference papers. Accordingly, he participated as a member of scientific and judgement board in several international conferences and competitionson architecture.
